RALEIGH - The No. 16 NC State women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 2OT draw on Thursday evening at Dail Soccer Stadium in its second of a three-match home stretch, remaining undefeated on its season.
The Wolfpack moves to 2-0-1 while the Pirates move to 1-0-2 on the season.

Sydney Wootten and head coach Tim Santoro discuss Thursday's result.
How It Happened
In her first start of the season, Kia Rankin put the Pack on the board with a goal in the 15th minute of the contest. She found the back of the net off a low pass from Krissi Schuster from the right wing.
The Pirates knotted the match in the 35th minute off a corner kick from Morgan Dewey. Dewey's corner found Chentay Warnes, who headed it across the goalmouth to Courtney Cash, and her header to the near post managed to get past goalkeeper Sydney Wootten.
Both squads continued to find opportunities but were unable to capitalize. In the first overtime period, Rankin looked to put the match away when her shot hit the crossbar and Paige Griffiths headed in the rebound, but she was called offside. In the second overtime period Tziarra King had a good look on a through ball inside the box, but her attempt was blocked.
NC State outshot ECU 29-12, with nine of them on goal, and earned six corners compared to the Pirates' two.
