DES MOINES, Iowa – Gabriele Cunningham of the NC State track and field team concluded her participation at the 2018 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships this weekend.

The rising senior participated in the 100m on June 21-22 and then competed in the 200m on June 23-24.

In the quarterfinal race of the 100m on June 21, Cunningham set a new school record with a time of 11.21 seconds to advance to the semifinal race. In the semifinal race, she ran a time of 11.40 seconds to finish 15th.

In the quarterfinal race of the 200m on June 23, Cunningham finished in 23.34 seconds to advance to the semifinal race. She then ran a time of 23.45 seconds in the semifinal round on June 24 to place 14th.
