Women's Tennis Tabbed at No. 36 in Oracle/ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The NC State women's tennis team was tabbed at No. 36 in the latest Oracle/ITA team rankings, as announced by the organization Thursday.
Claudia Wiktorin & Anna Rogers were tabbed at No. 19 in the doubles rankings while Rogers and Adriana Reami were featured in the singles rankings at No. 100 and No. 108.
Since last week's Oracle/ITA rankings were released the Wolfpack competed at the ACC Championships at the Cary Tennis Park, advancing to the quarterfinals. The Pack defeated No. 41 Clemson 4-2 on Apr. 26 in the second round then fell to No. 3 Duke in the quarterfinals, 5-0.
Doubles
Wiktorin & Rogers landed at No. 19 in the doubles rankings. Since the most recent doubles rankings came out on Apr. 24 the duo defeated Clemson's No. 21 Marie Leduc and Fernanda Navarro 6-3 on Apr. 26 then narrowly dropped a close contest to ninth-ranked Kaitlyn McCarthy and Elise Hamlin of Duke 7-6 (9-7)
Singles
In singles, Rogers was tabbed No. 100 and Reami at No. 108.

NC State takes on No. 25 Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 1:00 p.m. (ET) on May 11 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
