Women's Tennis Moves Up To #42 In National Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The NC State women's tennis moved up to #42 in the Oracle/ITA team rankings, Anna Rogers and Claudia Wiktorin maintained their top-20 doubles ranking and Rogers was again featured in the singles rankings, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
Since last week's Oracle/ITA team rankings were released NC State split a pair of road matches. On Mar. 30 it fell 4-3 it fell to #45 Clemson while on Mar. 31 it overcame Virginia Tech 4-3.
Wiktorin & Rogers landed at No. 19 in the doubles rankings. Since the most recent doubles rankings came out on Mar. 20 the duo have a 1-0 record; on Mar. 31 they defeated Virginia Tech's Elena Cerezo-Codina 6-3. The duo's matches on Mar. 30 vs. Clemson and Mar. 25 vs. No. 3 Georgia Tech both went unfinished.
In singles, Rogers was tabbed at #80.
