
#33 Wolfpack Edged By #27 Syracuse, 4-3

RALEIGH – Despite winning the doubles point and a valiant effort in singles play, the #33 NC State tennis team was edged 4-3 by #27 Syracuse Sunday at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
The result saw the Pack end regular season play with a 16-13 record overall and a 7-7 record in ACC play while the Orange moved to 16-6 and 8-6.

The Pack continued its outstanding doubles play; Adriana Reami and Amanda Rebol defeated Sofya Golubovskaya and Anna Shkudun 6-1 at the the No. 2 position while at No. 3-1 NC State earned another 6-1 win as Bianca Moldovan and Tayla Stenta overcame Maria Tritou and Dina Hegab.
Singles
Earning wins for NC State was #94 Adriana Reami who continued her excellent singles play as she overcame Miranda Ramirez 6-0, 6-2 at the second flight. Claudia Wiktorin also outlasted Anna Shkudun at No. 4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
