Women's Golf To Play In Wildcat Invitational

RALEIGH – After collecting a pair of top four finishes in its first two tournaments of the spring, the No. 29 NC State women's golf team returns to action Monday when it plays in the Wildcat Invitational in Tuscon, Ariz.

Hosted by Arizona, NC State is one of 17 teams in the tournament field as seven are ranked among the top 50 of the latest GolfWeek rankings. 36 holes will be contested Monday and the final 18 will be played Tuesday.

Yardage – 6,494
Format – 36 holes Monday, 18 holes Tuesday
Tee Times - NC State will tee off on holes 8-11 in a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start, and will be paired with players from UCLA, Augusta and Texas on Monday.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State finished fourth out of 17 teams at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, as Cecily Overbey (T8th) and Naomi Ko (T17th) earned top 20 finishes in the individual standings.

This was the second consecutive tournament NC State has finished fourth in the tournament field and had two players place in the top 20 of the individual standings.
