
Women’s Golf Remains In Top Five After Second Day Of LSU Tiger Classic

BATON ROUGE, La. – The NC State women's golf team shot a combined score of 316 (+28) on Saturday at the LSU Tiger Classic in Baton Rouge, La., to remain in the top five of the team standings.
Hosted by LSU at The University Club, the Wolfpack fell two spots two fourth with a two-day total of 621 (+45). Houston (602), LSU (613) and Virginia (619) round out the top three of leaderboard.
Four players sit among the top 20 of the individual standings. India Clyburn continues to pace the team as she is tied for 10th with a nine-over par 153 after turning in a 79 in the second round. Naomi Ko and Cecily Overbey share a tie for 18th at 156 (+12) with scores of 81 (+9) and 77 (+7) in respective order.
Monika Hartl, who is competing as an individual, turned in the low score among the team as she shot 74 (+2) to share a tie for 18th with Ko and Overbey at 156.
Laura Kowohl shot an 81 to sit in a tie for 30th with a 36-hole score of 158 while Mim Sangkapong shaved three strokes off her first-round score as she shot 79 for a combined 161 (+17) to sit in a tie for 40th.
The Pack will conclude play Sunday at the LSU Tiger Classic in a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
