RALEIGH – The No. 23/23 NC State women's basketball team (19-5, 8-3 ACC) takes its seven-game Atlantic Coast Conference winning streak on the road Thursday evening when it travels south to take on Miami. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Hurricanes is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla., with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

Despite graduating four senior starters and their accompanying 43.5 points per game from the 2016-17 squad, the 2017-18 Wolfpack is one game better (19-5) through 24 games than last season (18-6). Despite preseason predictions of 10th (coaches) and eighth (media), the Wolfpack is currently fourth in the ACC standings.

Presently in the fifth season under head coach Wes Moore, the Wolfpack has earned 31 true road wins since the start of the 2013-14 season. In the prior eight seasons from 2005-06 to 2012-13, the Wolfpack earned 32 true road wins.

In the Feb. 5 edition of his Bracketology posts, Charlie Creme has the Wolfpack as a five seed in the Columbia, Missouri, region and taking on Belmont of the Ohio Valley Conference in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
