NC State sits fourth in ACC standings with five regular-season games remaining

RALEIGH – For the second week this season, the NC State women's basketball team (19-5, 8-3 ACC) is in the top 25. The Wolfpack was recognized for its active seven-game winning streak on Tuesday afternoon by earning the 23rd spot in the February 6 USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Wolfpack was previously voted into a tie for 23rd in the Nov. 21 edition of the USA Today Coaches Poll earlier this season and appeared at the 23rd spot in the February 5 AP Poll.

NC State has not lost since January 7, rattling off wins against Georgia Tech, Syracuse, UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, Clemson, No. 10 Florida State, and Boston College to achieve its longest ACC winning streak since the 2000-01 season and the longest active winning streak in the conference against league opponents.

The Wolfpack returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Miami. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.
