RALEIGH – Kiara Leslie of the 23rd-ranked NC State women's basketball team (19-5, 8-3 ACC) has been named the College Sports Madness ACC Player of the Week, the organization announced on Monday.

Leslie had a huge week for the Wolfpack during wins over No. 10/11 Florida State and Boston College. She averaged 16.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting .500 from the field (.625 from distance). During the win over Florida State, she shot 3-4 from long range and scored 16 points. She then followed this up with her third double-double of the season (17 points and 11 rebounds) in the win over Boston College.

The Wolfpack is on a seven-game ACC winning streak and returns to action at Miami on Thursday, Feb. 8. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.
