From the Coach
"As a team, we started off a little flat in the first half of the meet," said head coach Kim Landrus. "In practice, we've been focusing on on the little details and stuck landings, but unfortunately, today they weren't as sharp as they could have been. I'm proud of how the girls rebounded and went out and competed with so much energy and passion on floor. It was the highlight of the competition.
After the meet, we talked about the opportunities that lie ahead for us. If the persistence and attention to detail continues in practice, which I'm confident it will, I assured them that it will carry over to the competition floor . We are on the road again next weekend against Auburn, a top-20 team, EAGL opponent Pittsburgh and TWU. I know everyone will be as excited as I am to get back out on the competition floor!"
