Wolfpack ranked in CBN Preseason Poll for third consecutive season

TUCSON, Ariz. – Following a strong 2018 season in which the NC State baseball team matched the program record with 19 ACC wins, the Wolfpack will begin its 2019 campaign ranked No. 22 in the Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll, announced Tuesday by the organization.

The selection marks the 17^thconsecutive year that NC State has either started the year or finished the season ranked in the polls.

The Pack is one of eight programs from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to appear in the Fab 40 ranking.

NC State will play a total of 20 games versus teams ranked in the poll and an additional 13 games against teams receiving votes.

Collegiate Baseball announced its Preseason All-Americans on Monday, as junior Will Wilson was selected to the team.

NC State opens the 2019 season at home on Feb. 15 against Bucknell. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Doak Field at Dail Park.
