Saveljic Brothers Headed to ITA National Fall Championships

RALEIGH – Igor Saveljic and Ivan Saveljic of the NC State men's tennis team will close out their fall campaigns at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which begins Wednesday at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
Igor and Ivan are set to match up against Florida Gulf Coast's Felipe Escobar and Mateo Ruiz in the opening round of competition, with that match set to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET Wednesday evening.
The duo, which is ranked 15th nationally, is one of four ACC pairs to earn a spot at the tournament. Igor and Ivan will join 31 other doubles pairs from across all collegiate divisions looking to win a national title to conclude fall tennis action.
The Saveljic brothers have competed in three tournaments this fall, including the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships which they played in at the beginning of October after earning an automatic selection to the doubles main draw. They most recently reached the doubles semifinal round at the ITA Carolina Regional, posting a 3-1 mark over the course of the regional tournament.
