NC State owns a perfect 9-0 record this season when recording a higher team attacking percentage than its opponents.
Â
Magic Numbers
The Wolfpack is also unbeaten on the year when tallying a team attacking percentage better than .200 with a 9-0 record. Defensively, NC State has held its opponents below .200 in each of its 10 wins this season.
Â
Stellar Defense

Â
Scouting Wake Forest
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons head to Raleigh with an 8-16 overall record, but the squad is looking for its first true road win. The Deacs are 0-7 in road matches on the year and 0-5 in ACC road matches.

Â
Scouting Duke
After earning the program's first-ever win against a top-five opponent in the 3-1 win over Pittsburgh last Sunday, Duke has won four consecutive matches heading into the weekend and six of its last seven.
Â
The Blue Devils are 4-3 away from home and 3-3 in ACC road matches. Last season, NC State and Duke split the season series with each winning on its home court. The Wolfpack earned its first sweep against the Blue Devils since 2000 with its 3-0 victory inside Reynolds Coliseum on October 8, 2017.
Â
Sunday's matchup will be the lone meeting between the programs this season.
