RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team will conclude a four-match road swing by traveling to the Sunshine State this weekend for a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) matches. The Wolfpack will play at Florida State Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Miami Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Sunday's match will be broadcast live on Regional Sports Networks (RSN) and a list of television affiliates in your area can be found HERE. Additionally, live video will be accessible on the ACC Network Extra with blackouts possible in areas where TV coverage is available.
Friday's contest will air on the ACC Network Extra.
NC State owns an 8-6 overall record heading into the weekend and a 2-2 mark in conference play. The Seminoles are 7-7 and 3-1 in the ACC, while the Hurricanes are 7-4 and 3-1 in conference matches.
Last Time Out
In its last outing, NC State won three consecutive sets to earn a 3-1 win at Virginia Tech after dropping the first set. The Wolfpack regrouped after a tough opening frame to earn its first ACC road win against the Hokies.
Last Time at Florida State
NC State has made history in its last two trips to Tallahassee, as the Wolfpack won the 2017 and 2016 matchups inside Tully Gym. Last season, the Pack set the rally-scoring era program records for kills (80) and assists (78) in a single match.
Senior All-America setter Kylie Pickrell broke the rally-scoring era program record with 70 assists, the most by any setter in the ACC and tied for third most by any NCAA Division I setter last season. Pickrell claimed ACC Player of the Week honors following that performance.
In 2016, NC State earned the program's first-ever top 10 win against the Seminoles. It was the first time that Florida State had lost at home while ranked in the top 10, snapping a streak of 19 consecutive wins. Prior to 2016's victory, the Wolfpack's last win against the Noles was in 1999 and first in Tallahassee since 1995.
Last Time at Miami
The Wolfpack loss its last match against the Hurricanes inside the Knight Complex, 3-0 in 2017, but NC State picked up its first-ever win in Coral Gables in 2016, 3-1. It was third-year head coach Linda Hampton-Keith's first trip to Miami. The win helped the Pack complete its first-ever season sweep of the Hurricanes, as NC State won the first meeting of the season at home, 3-1.
Can You Dig It
NC State ranks second in the ACC with 15.77 digs per set. The Wolfpack has recorded more digs than its opponent in 10 of 14 matches this season and the squad is 8-2 when accomplishing the feat.
The Pack tallied a season-high 94 digs in its 3-1 win against Notre Dame, which stands as the second-most digs by a team in the ACC this season. Senior libero Makenzie Kuchmaner set the rally-scoring era program record for digs in a four-set match with 32, the most by an ACC player this season.

NC State is a perfect 7-0 on the year when winning the second set. The Wolfpack has outscored opponents, 326-304, in the frame.
Wolfpack Among the ACC Rankings
Four Wolfpack players rank among the top 10 of the ACC individual rankings, as Lauryn Terry is sixth in the league with a .379 attacking percentage. Pickrell has handed out the second-most assists per set in the conference with 10.77, which also ranks 35th in the NCAA.
Kuchmaner has collected 4.84 digs per set to rank second in the ACC, while sophomore Melissa Evans is ninth in the conference with 3.50 kills per set.
Scouting Florida State
The Florida State Seminoles own a 7-7 record on the year with a 3-1 mark in ACC play. The Seminoles split its last weekend of conference action, defeating Virginia in straight sets before falling at eighth-ranked Pittsburgh, 3-1.
NC State has won the last two matchups with Florida State, both of which have come in Tallahassee. Last year, the Wolfpack earned a thrilling five-set victory against the Seminoles on their home court.
Payton Caffrey leads the team offensively with 4.16 kills per set, which is the second most in the ACC. Brianne Burkert and Adrian Ell have split time at the setter position, with the former handing out 6.10 assists per set and the latter 4.47. At libero, Kelsey Wicinski has collected 3.88 digs per set to rank seventh in the conference.
Florida State has compiled a .275 team attacking percentage, the second highest in the ACC, while limiting opponents to a .216 clip. The Seminoles were picked to finish third in the ACC's Preseason Poll.

Hampton-Keith has faced the Canes twice during her tenure, earning the Wolfpack's first-ever season sweep versus Miami in 2016 before dropping last season's lone matchup. The teams are also set to meet only once in 2018 and both teams were tied for seventh in the ACC's Preseason Poll.
The Hurricanes have a very balanced attack, as Elizaveta Lukianova and Chloe Brown are both tied for the team lead with 3.08 kills per set and Kolby Bird is right behind them with 3.03 kills per set. All-ACC selection Haley Templeton directs the offense from the setter position and has tallied 9.95 assists per set. Defensively, Emily Damon paces the group with 3.03 digs per set.
Miami has logged a .257 team attacking percentage and opponents have tallied a .243 clip.
