NC State hosts free exhibition Thursday evening at 7 pm

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team was ranked 17th nationally in the Associated Press' Preseason Top-25 Women's College Basketball Poll released Wednesday morning.

The Wolfpack was also selected to finish fourth in the Atlantic Coast Conference earlier this month by a vote of the league's head coaches and members of the media.

NC State opens the 2018-19 season with a free exhibition against Anderson University on Thursday evening at Reynolds Coliseum. The regular season begins on Wednesday, Nov. 7 when Belmont comes to town. The Bruins also appeared in Wednesday's AP poll, receiving votes to rank 35th nationally.
