Reami and Rogers Conclude ITA Riviera Competition, Smith Competes in Charleston

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- The NC State women's tennis team finished competition at the ITA All-American Championships in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

After advancing to the final qualifying round, No. 66 Anna Rogers fell to No. 28 Julia Rosenqvist (California) on Wednesday, 7-6 (4), 6-1. Rogers was undefeated in singles competition (5-0) and against ranked opponents (4-0) coming into the match.

No. 59 Adriana Reami dropped her final match at the ITA All-American Championships in the backdraw of qualifying singles to No. 41 Evgeniya Levashova (Pepperdine), 6-2, 6-1.

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Alana Smith advanced to the main draw with a win over Joelle Kissell at the Charleston 25k on Tuesday.

Smith was defeated Wednesday afternoon by Eudice Chong, 7-5, 6-2. It was her first loss of the tournament. The freshman had a strong outing throughout the course of the week, posting a 4-1 record at the Charleston 25k.
