
Women’s Golf To Kick Off Season At Ocean Course Invitational

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team is set to open its season Monday at the Ocean Course Invitational in Kiawah Island, S.C.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island – hosted by College of Charleston
Par: 73
Yards: 6,109
Format: 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday)
Tee Times: There will be an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start Monday and an 8:30 shotgun start Tuesday.

2016-17 RECAP
-NC State finished in the top 10 in eight of its nine tournaments last year, which included a team win at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 12-14.
-The Wolfpack saw its 15th appearance in 16 seasons at the NCAA Regional, finishing seventh and coming up just short of advancing to the NCAA Championship.
-India Clyburn turned in a stellar sophomore campaign, finishing in the top 50 of the final NCAA player rankings with a 72.6 stroke average. She was an All-ACC selection and holds the single-season program record for lowest stroke average.
2017-18 ROSTER
The Wolfpack returns four of its players from last year that saw significant tournament action, including Clyburn and Naomi Ko who competed in all nine tournaments. The squad additionally welcomes freshman Monika Hartl as she brings an extensive amateur resume with her to Raleigh.

-This is the inaugural year of The Ocean Course Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston.
