GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State women's basketball team will play its first Atlantic Coast Conference game of the 2017-18 season at Virginia Tech on December 28, the league office announced Thursday afternoon along with the entirety of the league schedule. The Wolfpack's first home ACC game of the season will be against Louisville on Sunday, Dec. 31 at 2:30 p.m.
The 13th edition of the annual Play4Kay Game at Reynolds Coliseum is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 18 at noon with national television coverage provided by ESPNU.
As has been the case in recent seasons, NC State will play Wake Forest and UNC-CH both at home and on the road, and will play the remaining 12 league opponents once. All 16 of NC State's conference games will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra, ESPN2, ESPNU, or the league's Regional Sports Network affiliates.

Following the trip to Virginia Tech, NC State will play seven straight games inside the state of North Carolina, four of which will be at Reynolds Coliseum. NC State hosts Louisville (Dec. 31), Virginia (Jan. 4), travels to Duke (Jan. 7), hosts Georgia Tech (Jan. 10) and Syracuse (Jan. 14), and then travels to nearby opponents UNC-CH (Jan. 18) and Wake Forest (Jan. 25).
In contrast, the Wolfpack will end the regular season with two straight road trips, playing at Pittsburgh (Feb. 22) before concluding the regular season at Notre Dame (Feb. 25).
NC State will be featured on national television twice throughout league play: an ESPNU home game against Wake Forest on Feb. 18 (Play4Kay) and an ESPN2 road contest at Notre Dame to end the regular season.
NC State's 2017-18 ACC Schedule
The 2018 ACC Tournament will be played in Greensboro, N.C., from Feb. 28 – Mar. 4.
Last season, NC State posted a 12-4 record in ACC play for the first time since 1997-98. The Wolfpack defeated four teams ranked within the national top 15 at the time of tipoff: No. 2/2 Notre Dame, No. 6/7 Florida State, No. 12/15 Duke, and No. 9/7 Louisville. Head coach Wes Moore was named ACC Coach of the Year for the first time in school history while seniors Miah Spencer (First Team All-ACC), Dominique Wilson (First Team All-ACC), Jennifer Mathurin (All-ACC Academic Team), and Ashley Williams (All-ACC Academic Team) were also recognized by the league office.
