Rebol & Reami Advance to Doubles Semifinal on Day Three of ITA Summer Nationals

FORT WORTH, Texas – After toppling the No. 1 doubles tandem the previous day, Amanda Rebol and Adriana Reami kept things rolling as they advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Summer National Championships at the McCorkle Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rebol and Reami beat a higher seed yet again, defeating No. 7 Cassie Mercer and Meghan Kelley 8-6 in the quarterfinals.

Rebol was pleased with her efforts, and is eager to get back out on the court with Reami tomorrow.

"Adrian and I have been playing solidly" she said. "It's good to see the hard work paying off in competition, and we're excited to play tomorrow!"

In other doubles action, the No. 7 seeded duo of Anna Rogers and Bianca Moldovan fell 8-6 to No. 14 Alyssa Mayo and Celia Cervino Ruiz.

Meanwhile in singles, No. 7 Rogers prevailed 6-3, 3-6, 10-2 over No. 9 Elise Van Heuvelen, seeing her go through to the quarterfinals. Facing No. 1 Kaitlyn McCarthy, Rogers battled hard but ultimately lost 6-4, 6-2 in her quarterfinal match.
