Wolfpack Releases 2017-18 Competition Schedule

Pack to host Wolfpack Intercollegiate from Oct. 2-3

RALEIGH – The NC State men's golf team, under new head coach Press McPhaul, announced its 2017-18 competition schedule on Thursday.
The Pack will play four tournaments in the fall, including hosting the Wolfpack Intercollegiate at Lonnie Poole Golf Course from October 2-3.
McPhaul's first tournament as head coach of NC State will be at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate in Zionsville Ind., from September 8-10. McPhaul takes over the program after five-time ACC Coach of the Year Richard Sykes retired in the spring after 46 seasons as head coach of the Pack.
After Wolf Run, NC State will play in the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Sept. 17-19), before returning home to host the Wolfpack Intercollegiate. The Wolfpack end the fall season in Greensboro at the UNCG Grandover Intercollegiate (Oct. 27-28).
The Pack return to the links in February traveling to Puerto Rico to play in the Puerto Rico Classic from February 18-20.
NC State will have a busy March as the Wolfpack will play three consecutive weeks, starting with the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. (March 10-11), before heading to Statesboro, Ga., for the Chris Schenkel Invitational (March 16-18) and closing the streak by playing in the Hootie at Bulls Bay in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. (March 25-27).
The Wolfpack's final tune-up before the ACC Championship will be in Raleigh as NC State will play in the newly formed tournament, Stitch Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs Country Club, from April 13-15
The 2018 ACC Championship (April 20-22) will be held at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C.
NCAA Regional play will be held May 15-17 and Lonnie Poole Golf Course is one of six sites that will play host to an NCAA Regional.
The 2018 men's and women's NCAA Championships will be hosted by Oklahoma State University at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.
