Sophomore Gabriele Cunningham qualified for Saturday's quarterfinals of the 100m hurdles as the Wolfpack completed its second day of action at the 2017 NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Lexington, Ky. Cunningham clocked in at 13.51 and will compete for the chance to advance to the championships in Eugene, Oregon at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Freshman Cravont Charleston barely missed qualifying for the next round in the 100 meters, finishing 13^th with a time of 10.41 (12 runners qualified for nationals). Another freshman, Dylan Peebles, finished 21^st in the men's 200 meters, crossing the line at 21.05.

Aubrey Myjer also finished one spot away from moving on in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a mark of 8:48.45, shattering his previous personal best of 8:55.34.

Tomorrow, the Wolfpack will compete in the men's 4x100m relay, the men's 4x400m relay, the women's 100mH and the women's 5000m on the track, and the men's high jump and women's triple jump and shot put.
