Kemp Named ACC Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - For the second time this season, Erika Kemp has been recognized as the ACC Women's Track Performer of the Week. Kemp won the Charlotte Invitational 1,500m over the weekend with a time of 4:18.38 to claim the award.

Her time is currently 31st in the nation, 12th in the East region and third in the ACC. The time was also a 12-second PR and now ranks sixth in NC State school history.

Kemp has won the weekly honor with every race she's competed in this season and remains undefeated after winning the Raleigh Relays 10,000m.

The NC State track and field team will continue its season this weekend with the Virginia Challenge.
