Women’s Golf Ready For ACC Championship

Wolfpack to enter championship as No. 5 seed
RALEIGH – The No. 20 NC State women's golf team is set to play in the 2017 ACC Championship this week at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.
 
The championship will run Thursday through Saturday as the Wolfpack enters the competition as the No. 5 seed. NC State is coming off of a strong spring season with four top five finishes, including a win at the Puerto Rico Classic and season-best 282 (-6) in its dual match at Hawai'i.
 
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: The Reserve
Par: 72
Yards: 6,192
Format: 54 holes (18 holes Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Tee Times: NC State will be paired with competitors from No. 17 Miami and No. 30 UNC-Chapel Hill between 9:40 and 10:20 a.m. Thursday. Friday and Saturday's pairings will be based on placement from the prior round.
Live Scoring: Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.com.
Broadcast Info: The tournament will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra starting at 2:00 p.m. Friday and 1:00 p.m. Saturday, and run until the end of play each day.

-The Pack will face a strong field this week as eight teams in the conference are listed in the top 50, including five in the top 25 of the latest GolfWeek rankings.
-When going head-to-head with ACC teams, NC State boasts a 15-7-1 record this year in tournament play.
-India Clyburn and Naomi Ko are two of nine players in the conference that have won, or tied for, 16 individual titles during the 2016-17 season.
-NC State has finished in the top three at the ACC Championships on four separate occasions. Its best showing was a runner up finish in 2013 with a 906 (+54).
