Ford and Kozeniesky each took part in the 2016 NCAA Championships and both finished among the top 10 in air rifle. Kozeniesky turned in a fifth-place finish, while Ford garnered seventh in the air rifle competition.
Â
Ford owns an air rifle season average of 584.4 highlighted by a season-high score of 593 fired at the NCAA Qualifier. The Fairfax Station, Va., native owns nine perfect series on the season, headlined by three in the NCAA Qualifier match to help earn the selection to the championships.
Â
Kozeniesky, who competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in air rifle and fired the top American score, has a team-best 594.8 season average, which ranks fifth in the NCAA, in the discipline. He broke the program record with a score of 599, just one shy of a perfect score, in the Wolfpack's win against Memphis fired at OSU's rifle range on Nov. 12, 2016.
Â
Unfortunately, the Wolfpack was not selected as a team after finishing ninth in the final team rankings, one spot shy of earning a team bid to the NCAA Championships.Â
