
NC State Welcomes North Carolina, Pittsburgh, William & Mary for Quad Meet

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State gymnastics team will return to Reynolds Coliseum for a quad-meet with North Carolina, William and Mary, and Pittsburgh Friday at 7 p.m. The team enters the meet ranked 31st in the national team standings. The meet will mark the second time this season the Pack has faced William & Mary and the first meeting of the season between EAGL opponents North Carolina and Pittsburgh.

Last Time Out:
NC State earned a team score of 193.725 in its quad-meet in Philadelphia to get victories over Cornell and Penn, while falling to Bridgeport. The team set a season-high on bars and had 11 top-5 finishes while missing four starters.

UNC enters the meet with victories over Pittsburgh and Cornell. The Heels did not compete last weekend, but defeated Pittsburgh two weeks ago.

NC State downed William & Mary earlier this season 194.850-192.275 inside Reynolds Coliseum. William & Mary enters the meet with a season high of 192.275 and an average of 190.625. The Tribe finished third to the Pack and Ball State at its most recent meet.

With a record of 4-4, Pittsburgh comes to Raleigh ranked 49th in the team standings. Pitt posted a season high score of 194.450 in their loss against North Carolina. Most recently, the team finished second at a quad meet, defeating West Chester and Ursinus.Â
