RALEIGH – The No. 17/17 NC State women's basketball team (17-6, 7-3 ACC) concludes a three-game road trip Thursday evening at Georgia Tech. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from McCamish Pavilion with a live broadcast available on ACC Network Extra.

The No. 19/19 NC State women's basketball team picked up a thrilling 72-70 overtime win at No. 9/7 Louisville Thursday evening. The win was NC State's fourth this season over a team ranked within the national top 15.

Miah Spencer hit a runner from just beyond the free-throw line as time expired in the overtime period to earn the win. The senior tied a game high with 22 points on 11-17 shooting while also collecting six rebounds. She was joined in double figures by Dominique Wilson (15 points) and Akela Maize (11 – career high). Kaila Ealey led the team with nine rebounds.

-NC State enters Thursday's game the owner of a 17-6 record, a 7-3 mark in ACC play, and the No. 17 national ranking in both the AP and USA Today polls.

Miah Spencer (1,432 points and 453 assists) is the first player in the 42.5 season history of the NC State women's basketball program to score 1,400 points and dish out 450 assists in a career. She currently ranks 18th in scoring and fifth in assists.

On January 30, Spencer and Williams were chosen to participate in the 2017 WBCA "So You Want to be a Coach" seminar at the annual convention March 29-31 in Dallas. The Wolfpack duo was among just 61 student-athletes selected nationwide for the opportunity.
