RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's tennis team's comeback attempt came up short, as No. 12 Oklahoma State snuck past the Wolfpack with a narrow 4-3 victory. Despite falling behind 3-0, the Pack won three-straight singles matches to tie the match before The Cowboys won the final singles match.
Coach's Perspective:
"There was definitely a lot of competitiveness from our guys," said head coach Jon Choboy. "We knew we'd be in a position to win some sets. We've got to finish. We've spent a lot of time working on playing intelligent tennis. It put us in good position today. We got ourselves right where we wanted to be, we just have to finish it. We'll keep working on that."
