RALEIGH, N.C. - #6 NC State will be in road action this weekend, as the Wolfpack first travels to #12 Nebraska for a Friday night dual, then continues onto Reno for Sunday's Reno Tournament of Champions. The Wolfpack (9-0) and the Cornhuskers (2-0) will be facing off for the fourth straight season, and the road time has won each of the previous three meetings.

The first of two matchups with top-10 opponents and the first of four ranked matchups overall. Senior Kevin Jack will be looking to record his 100th career win at NC State. He is 7-0 (2-0 vs. ranked) and ranked #2 in every poll this year, and dating back to last season has won 40 of his last 41 matches overall. R-Fr. Chad Red is ranked #8 this week. Coming out of high school, Red was the #5 pound-for-pound wrestling nationally, putting together a career high school record of 183-0. This year, he is 10-3 and placed fourth at the Cliff Keen Invite.

This is a matchup that just a few weeks ago might not of stood out, but now it features a pair of top-10 wrestlers. R-Sr. Pete Renda remains undefeated and ranked third nationally. There might not of been a better wrestler in the month of December then Nebraska's redshirt-freshman Taylor Venz. He went from unranked to currently #6 in the country after a third place showing at the Cliff Keen Invite, where he went 6-1 and defeated four top-12 foes – including Virginia Tech's Zach Zavatsky 9-3.

Friday night's meeting marks the fourth straight season NC State and Nebraska will be facing off in a dual. In each of the three previous meetings, the road team has won.
