RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team (8-4-3, 3-3-1 ACC) concludes the 2017 regular season at home Friday evening when Atlantic Coast Conference foe Boston College comes to town. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

FRIDAY PROMOTIONS
-Senior Night. In a pre-match ceremony, NC State will celebrate the Wolfpack careers of seniors Jan-Luca Ahillen, Ian Dowding (manager), Julius Duchscherer, Caleb Duvernay, Jake Dykes, Max Luftl, and Roland Minogue.
-Student Wolfpack Club Night.
-Harris Teeter Million Meals Challenge: fans who donate three or more non-perishable food items at the door will receive $3 admission.

STRONG RECORD AT HOME
In nine home matches this season, NC State is 6-1-2 and has outscored its opponents 13-7.

If NC State defeats Boston College on Friday, it will mark the first time that the Wolfpack has finished the ACC portion of the season with a winning league record (4-3-1) since the 2005 team also went 4-3-1.

NC State has four freshmen ranked on the October 16 TopDrawerSoccer rankings. Manny Perez (9), David Loera (14), Leon Krapf (54), and David Norris (96) all made the list.

MORE AWARDS FOR MANNY
Freshman Manny Perez was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 23. Perez scored two goals and dished out three assists in wins over UNCW and at No. 5/9 Louisville. He was then named TopDrawerSoccer's National Player of the Week just a day later.

ACC TOURNAMENT APPROACHES
With the win at No. 5/9 Louisville and other results around the league, NC State is guaranteed a top-8 finish in the conferÂence standings. Teams seeded 5-8 will host ACC Tournament matches on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

If NC State was to finish seventh in the ACC regular-season standings, it would be the best finish since the 2009 season (seventh). If the Wolfpack placed sixth or better, it would be the best finish since the 2005 season (third).

This season will mark the first time that the Wolfpack has ever hosted an ACC Tournament match in Raleigh. This is partially due to the fact that historically the tournament has had a prearranged host location.
