RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team's next home game on Sunday, Feb. 12 against Virginia Tech will be the first Sustainability Game at Reynolds Coliseum.

The Sustainability Game will celebrate NC State's campus commitment of striving toward reducing waste on campus, saving energy, and reducing both costs and environmental pollution. Through the renovation process, Reynolds Coliseum was designed to meet LEED Silver status through the use of high-performance heating and cooling systems, high-efficiency windows, drought-tolerant landscaping plants, shading that reduces heat gain, and a host of additional "green" initiatives.

Prior to the game tipping off at 2 p.m., campus and community sustainability organizations will be passing out information and giveaways around the concourse.
