From the Coach's Perspective:
"The team we went against came in at ninth in the country, and they stepped out and did all four events at a decent level," said head coach Mark Stevenson. "We were able to do two events at a high level and in two events we struggled a little bit. We need to start doing the same type of job consistently in all four events for us to move up. It's still early in the season and we have plenty of time to work on it. We are doing it in the gym every day, but I think we got a little excited. We'll figure it out.
Â
"We really are young. We have three seniors and are getting five rotations from upperclassmen and everyone else is young. We feel strongly that we're going to be a team that continues to grow and peaks when we are supposed to peak."
