RALEIGH – The 27th-ranked NC State men's soccer team (1-1-0) opens a three-match home stand Sunday evening when North Florida (1-0-1) comes to town. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Ospreys is set for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium.

HOME STAND UNDERWAY
Sunday's contest marks the beginning of a three-match home stand for the Wolfpack. Following the match against North Florida, NC State will host No. 6 Syracuse (Sept. 9) and Elon (Sept. 13).

SCHEDULE CHANGES
Both NC State and North Florida had Friday matches postponed or cancelled due to Hurricane Hermine. The Wolfpack was scheduled to play at No. 3 UNC-Chapel Hill while the Ospreys were scheduled to play at Campbell. Due to the fact that neiÂther of these matches occurred, the teams moved up their contest from September 5 to September 4.

-North Florida posted a 10-7-1 record last season and lost at Coastal Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

NC State earned three penalties in its win at James Madison on Aug. 28. Stephen Elias, Francesco Casucci, and Ade Taiwo all earned fouls inside the penalty area to set the Pack up with strong scoring opportunities.

Seven Wolfpack players made their collegiate career debuts at the season-opening JMU Invitational: Jan-Luca Ahillen, Jake Dykes, Stephen Elias, Tyler Gabarra, Maximilian Luftl, Bryant Nardizzi, and Aidan Wixted.
