Wolfpack Visits No. 14 Wake Forest Saturday

RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday evening, taking on its second ranked opponent in three matches with a visit to No. 14 Wake Forest. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., with the action to be streamed live on the ACC Network Extra.
LAST MATCH
NC State outshot its opponent for the fourth straight match and picked up a 3-1 win over visiting Liberty on Sept. 20. Tanner Roberts (63rd minute), Clayton Sparks (70th), and Julius Duchscherer (78th) scored for the Wolfpack in the victory.

NC State has outshot its opponents by a 92-64 margin this season. The Wolfpack has recorded 36 shots on goal while opponents have achieved 27.
FIRST POINT FOR RETZLAFF
Redshirt sophomore Nick Retzlaff recorded the first assist of his career in the win over Liberty. The Wake Forest, N.C., native assisted on teammate Julius Duchscherer's goal in the 78th minute.
