Women's Tennis To Host Wolfpack Invitational

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State women's tennis team will compete against Princeton, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma in the Wolfpack Invitational this weekend, Sept. 23-25, at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

Last weekend, the team's three newcomers, Anna Rogers, Alejandra Cisneros, Adriana Reami, along with sophomore Claudia Wiktorin, competed in Duke's James Bonk Invite. A select squad is expected to compete in the tournament this weekend, including veterans Martina Frantova, Tayla Stenta, Bianca Moldovan and Amanda Rebol, who will see their first action of the season.

The tournament will feature three days of competition, broken into singles and doubles matches in hidden dual format.

Scouting Report:
Last season, NC State, Princeton and Ole Miss finished in consecutive places on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) final rankings, placing 40th, 41st and 42nd, respectively. All four programs have athletes among ITA's preseason rankings:

Spectator Information:
On Friday, spectators attending the event must park in the West Deck Pay Lot located off of Varsity Drive (view map). Any spectator that would like to purchase a visitor parking pass for $10 may do so by visiting the Transportation Office.
