NC State’s Konig to Compete for Canada Basketball

TORONTO – NC State women's basketball incoming freshman Aislinn "Ace" Konig made the cut to compete for Canada at the 2016 FIBA Americas U18 Women's Championship, Canada Basketball announced July 7.
Konig was one of 17 athletes invited to join the camp and participated with the group at York University in Toronto from June 27 – July 8. The group was narrowed down to a roster of Konig and 11 other women who will compete in Valdivia, Chile, July 13-17.
Canada is currently ranked No. 4 in the latest FIBA youth girls rankings.
