Addison Named CoSIDA Academic All-American

AUSTIN, Texas, - Jonathan Addison has been selected as a First-Team Academic All-American, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The honor is a first for the Raleigh N.C., native, who earned CoSIDA All-District honors last season.

Addison caps off an incredible career with success in both competition and the classroom. Along with his five NCAA All-America honors, four ACC titles and 14 All-ACC selections, Addison is an Academic All-America, a five-time All-ACC Academic honoree and a two-time ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year.

He also earned the ACC postgraduate scholarship and recently graduated with a 3.41 GPA while majoring in industrial engineering.

To be eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution and be nominated by his/her sports information director.
