Wolfpack Women 9th, Men 12th in Program of the Year Standings

NEW ORLEANS – The NC State track and field program earned a pair of top-15 finishes in the USTFCCCA Program of the Year standings, as the women took ninth and the men finished 12th.

NC State was the only ACC track and field program to have both its men's and women's program ranked in the standings and one of just nine teams nationally to accomplish the same feat.
The rankings are career highs for both the men's and women's team since the award's inception in 2008.
The USTFCCCA Program of the Year standings are calculated by national finishes in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. The women took home top-25 finishes in all three sports, placing fifth in cross country, 17th in indoor track and 25 in outdoor track to earn 50 points. The men finished 28th in cross country, 14th in indoor track and 33rd in outdoor track for 76 points.
In addition to the strong Program of the Year finishes, NC State set 10 school records and earned 12 All-America honors throughout the year.
