
Clyburn Places 14th To Lead Pack At Bryan National

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - India Clyburn finished 14th among 84 players to lead the NC State women's golf team at the Bryan National Collegiate this weekend. As a team, NC State placed eighth in the 15-team event.
FINAL RESULTS
Clyburn, one of three freshmen in the NC State lineup for this tournament, shot 9-over for the weekend. She was just two shots out of seventh place.
Rachael Taylor (+11) finished just outside of the top 20 in the field, tying for 21st. Naomi Ko (+13) improved each day, shooting a 2-over 74 on Sunday to tie for 30th. Competing as an individual, Leonie Bettel (+14) tied for 34th.
NC State entered the final round in 10th place and moved up two spots on the final day. Virginia won the event by six shots over South Carolina. Three ACC schools - Florida State, Wake Forest and Notre Dame - finished in the top five. The Wolfpack was just two shots behind Notre Dame and Kentucky for fifth place.
NC State will compete in the ACC Women's Golf Championship April 15-17 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.
