CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The throwers from the NC State track and field team wrapped up the Charlotte Invitational at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center on Saturday.
Lauren Evans took third in the women's shot put with a heave of 46'0.00". The mark is just off Evans' personal best of 49'2.25, which is currently ranked fifth in the ACC.
On the men's side, Joshua Davis finished fourth in the discus with a mark of 157'6". His current discus season-best is 160'3".
Up Next:
NC State will be back in action at the Virginia Challenge. The meet will feature strong competition. NC State made the best of that competition last season, earning several post season qualifying marks and a school record.
