GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time in three seasons, the NC State women's basketball team (20-10) has picked up at least 20 wins and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the ACC Tournament. Following a 76-60 win over Boston College in the ACC Tournament's second round Thursday evening, the Wolfpack will take on No. 17/17 Syracuse Friday at 8 p.m.

SECOND ROUND RECAP
NC State dominated Boston College from start to finish Thursday evening in the ACC Tournament second round, winning 76-60. The Wolfpack never trailed throughout the contest and opened up an early 18-3 lead in the first quarter.

ACADEMIC PROWESS
On March 3, Ashley Williams was named the ACC Kay Yow Scholar Athlete of the year, marking the fourth time in the last five seasons the award has gone to a Wolfpack player. She also earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic team and was joined by classmate Jennifer Mathurin. Williams has a 3.9 GPA in Industrial Engineering and is 5-5 on Dean's List opportunities.
