Following top-5 finishes in each of its last two events, the NC State women's golf team will stay close to home this weekened when it tees off at the Bryan National Collegiate, hosted by Wake Forest.Â
Located just 84 miles from NC State's Lonnie Poole Golf Course, the Bryan Park Champions Course is a familiar one to the Wolfpack, who practiced there a few weeks ago. Rachael Taylor and Cecily Overbey played in this tournament last year, but for the young Wolfpack team spent some time praciting at the course in recent weeks.Â
Taylor will be the No. 4 player in the lineup. Sarah Bae will play No. 1 after posting a team-best ninth-place finish at LSU last week. Freshmen Naomi Ko and Laura Kowohl are next, and playing No. 5 is fellow freshman India Clyburn. Overbey and Leonie Bettel are also in the 94-player event.
Following this weekend's play at Bryan Park, the Wolfpack will prepare for the ACC Women's Golf Championship, set for Sedgefield Country Club April 15-17.Â
