1st ROUND RESULTS
BATON ROUGE, La. - Sarah Bae fired a 1-over 73 and is tied for fifth overall after the first round to lead the NC State women's golf team at the LSU Golf Classic.

Bae had three birdies on the day and shot +1 on the front nine and even on the back nine. Playing as an individual, Naomi Ko thrived and fired a 2-over 74. Ko heads into Monday's second round tied for eighth in the 96-player field.
India Clyburn (+6) shot a 78 and Laura Kowohl and Cecily Overbey carded rounds of 80. Rachael Taylor, the Pack's leading scorer, shot 84.
Playing in a tournament with wet and windy conditions following a rainy weekend in Louisiana, the Pack is tied for 10th in the 17-team event. NC State is just six shots out of fourth place. Duke is leading the team standings by six shots over second-place Arkansas. Duke's Celine Boutier (-5) is the top individual and tied the course's women's collegiate record by shooting 67.
