NC State will face UNC-CH and William and Mary at 7 p.m.
RALEIGH- After a #STATEment win in its quad meet in Chapel Hill, N.C., last Saturday, the NC State gymnastics team will return to Carmichael Arena Friday to take on host UNC-CH and William and Mary in a tri-meet at 7 p.m.
Â
From The Coach's Perspective
"We're coming off of a great showing in Chapel Hill last weekend with wins over three strong teams. Even though we scored a season best 194.9, as a coaching staff we don't think we've reached what we're capable of doing this season. We had a few mistakes that cost us on our overall score, and those little mistakes add up at the end of the day," said associate head coach Colleen Johnson.
Â
"We've been working on all of the small details this past week to prepare for tomorrow, but more importantly we're excited to go back to UNC because it's like another home meet for us. We had a lot of fans there last weekend and it felt great to see so much red in the stands.
Â
"We'll continue to focus on ourselves as a team and improve our performance each week. We believe we've solidified our lineups and have our key people where we need them to be. We want to make sure we continue to hit every routine so we can improve our score as the RQS point of the season approaches."
