Six Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State placed six student-athletes on the 2015 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.

Kaitlyn Kramer, Erika Kemp, Megan Moye, Alyssa Rudawsky, Sarah Kanney and Ryen Frazier earned the academic honor.

This is Kemp and Kramer's second All-ACC Academic award, and the first time the rest of the group has earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team. Kramer also received an ACC Postgraduate Scholarship, which was awarded to her earlier this week.Â

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Â Frazier, Kramer and Kemp earned All-ACC honors, while Kemp, Moye and Frazier earned All-NCAA Southeast Region honors this season.

All six runners were part of NC State's fifth-ranked women's team, who had a banner year. The team earned its highest national finish since 2001, finished second at NCAA Southeast Regional and placed second at the ACC Championships.

To be eligible for consideration for the team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his undergraduate academic career. Graduate students needed to maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for both the previous semester and for their graduate school careers.
