MOBILE, Ala. – The NC State women's basketball team (9-3) concludes non-conference play Monday evening at South Alabama. The first meeting between the two programs is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT (6:30 p.m. ET) at the Mitchell Center with free live video coverage provided by JagNationTV.

A WOLFPACK WIN ON MONDAY WOULD...

The NC State women's basketball team dropped a difficult road contest at Tulane (6-4) Saturday afternoon, falling 63-58 at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Despite leading for 29:13 of the game's 40 minutes, the Wolfpack let a late lead slip away during a fourth quarter in which Tulane outscored NC State 28-16 while shooting 9-15 from the field and 5-7 from distance. NC State held the 38th-best shooting team in the country in check for three quarters, but an explosive final stanza from Tulane proved to be the difference in the contest.

Chelsea Nelson led the way offensively for the Wolfpack with her fifth double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) of the season. She was joined in double figures by freshman Aislinn Konig (14 points, 4-7 shooting from range). Morgan Kolby scored 27 points (6-8 shooting from distance) to lead Tulane. She was joined in double figures by teammate Leslie Vorpahl (15 points).

VERY ELITE COMPANY
Senior Miah Spencer achieved 1,300 career points during the Dec. 17 game at Tulane. She's now just six assists away from reaching 400 for her career. Upon her 400th assist, Spencer will become just the fifth player in program history to score 1,300 points and distribute 400 assists.
