RALEIGH – The NC State men's golf team prepares to play its third of four fall tournaments early next week as the team travels west to Fairfax, Calif., to compete in the 2016 Alister MacKenzie Invitational Oct. 10-11.
Hosted by the University of California at the Meadow Club, the Alister MacKenzie Invitational will feature 54 holes of golf over the course of two days. Teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday on the par-71, 6,734-yard course.
NOTING THE WOLFPACK
NC State took third out of 17 teams at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate (Oct. 3-4) held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on campus. Senior Jacob McBride (T2), freshman Benjamin Shipp (T5), and sophomores Justin Hood (T13) and Davis Richards (T20) finished within the top 20 of a tournament field that featured 90 golfers.
