HANAHAN, S.C.- Led by sophomore India Clyburn's 13th-place finish on the individual leaderboard, the NC State women's golf team wrapped up competition on Tuesday afternoon at the Cougar Classic with a 14th-place finish.

Hosted by the College of Charleston at Yeamans Hall Club, the Wolfpack posted an 18-hole total of 297 on the final day of play to give the team a 54-hole score of 881 ( 17).

Clyburn continued her strong play on Tuesday as she turned in a two-under par 70 to post the fourth top-20 finish of her career and a three-day score of 213 (-3). Her round was highlighted by three birdies and one bogey.

"It was a good and steady tournament for me really," said Clyburn. "It was nice to get in the top 15 and I felt like I left a few shots out there on each round, so I feel if I keep putting in hard work that it can only get better. Overall though I'm pleased with the way I played and am looking forward to the next tournament."

Sarah Bae shaved two strokes off of Monday's round as she carded a two-over par 74, while Naomi Ko bettered her round by one shot to finish the day with a 76 ( 4). Leonie Bettel and Laura Kowohl rounded out the Pack's final day with scores of 77 ( 5), respectively.

UNC-CH took home the team title with an 838 (-26), while Furman and Wake Forest finished second and third with scores of 846 and 851, in respective order. Kelly Whaley of UNC-CH earned individual medalist honors, edging out South Carolina's Katelyn Dambaugh by one stroke with an 11-under par 205.

NC State will return to action when it travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational Oct. 14-16.
