RALEIGH – Currently riding a two-match shutout streak which has included one conference win and one road victory over a ranked opponent, the NC state men's soccer team prepares to host its final home match of the regular season on Sunday afternoon. The Wolfpack will welcome No. 13/7 Louisville to Dail Soccer Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff. Action will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

LAST MATCH
NC State picked up a big road victory Wednesday evening, winning 2-0 at No. 26/21 UNCW. Julius Duchscherer and Clayton Sparks scored for the Wolfpack as goalkeeper Alex McCauley and the team recorded a second consecutive shutout victory.
FAMOUS BACKHEEL
Duchscherer's first half goal in the win at No. 26/21 UNCW has earned significant online acclaim. The Wolfpack sophomore's goal was featured by Fox Soccer's "The Buzzer" segment and as of 1 p.m. on Oct. 21, has generated in excess of 100,000 views.
GOLDEN BOOT
In addition to the team's strong play, Duchscherer has been on fire lately. The German midfielder has scored in three straight matches, recording four goals in this span to increase his season total to eight (13 career). Duchscherer's eight goals this season mark the most by a Wolfpack player since Nick Surkamp scored eight times in 2013.
KEEP UP THE PRESSURE
NC State has outshot its opponents by a 190-130 margin this season. The Wolfpack has recorded 82 shots on goal, while opponents have achieved 59. NC State has also earned 77 corners compared to just 51 for its opponents.
CLIMBING THE CHART
In the Oct. 8 match at No. 5 Clemson, redshirt senior goalkeeper Alex McCauley made a season high seven saves. The Marietta, Ga., native currently ranks ninth in program history with 151 stops in his career. He recently earned the 11th shutout of his career at No. 26/21 UNCW on Oct. 19.
THE 500 CLUB
With NC State's 3-0 win over Pittsburgh on Oct. 15, the Wolfpack claimed the 500th victory in program history and became just the 31st NCAA Division I program to reach this mark.

-Sunday's match marks the fifth meeting between NC State and Louisville. The Wolfpack holds a 2-1-1 edge in the series.
-NC State is unbeaten in the last two matches against Louisville. The Wolfpack drew No. 24 Louisville 1-1 on the road last season and defeated the No. 5 Cardinals 2-1 in Raleigh on Oct. 3, 2014.
