RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team steps outside of Atlantic Coast Conference play for the final time this season on Wednesday evening, traveling southeast to compete at No. 26 UNCW. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from UNCW Soccer Stadium.
LAST MATCH
NC State put on a show of offensive firepower Saturday evening, defeating visiting Atlantic Coast Conference foe Pittsburgh by a final score of 3-0 on the Wolfpack's annual Senior Night. Sophomore midfielder Julius Duchscherer scored his team leading sixth and seventh goals of the season in the victory.
During the match, the Wolfpack outshot Pittsburgh 24-5 and earned 17 corners to the Panthers' one. NC State did not allow a single shot on goal and Duchscherer individually outshot Pittsburgh by a 6-5 margin.
THE 500 CLUB
With NC State's 3-0 win over Pittsburgh on Oct. 15, the Wolfpack claimed the 500th victory in program history and became just the 31st NCAA Division I program to reach this mark.

NC State has outshot its opponents by a 181-125 margin this season. The Wolfpack has recorded 78 shots on goal, while opponents have achieved 58. NC State has also earned 71 corners compared to just 47 for its opponents.
CLIMBING THE CHART
In the Oct. 8 match at No. 5 Clemson, redshirt senior goalkeeper Alex McCauley made a season high seven saves. The Marietta, Ga., native currently ranks ninth in program history with 150 stops in his career. He recently earned the 10th shutout of his career in the Wolfpack's 3-0 win over ACC foe Pittsburgh on Oct. 15.
